Hp printer stuck on initializing

My printer has been stuck on initializing and I am unable to print. I have tried unplugging it and re-plugging it, remove the laser cartridge, I have tried to update the firmware by doing the permanent storage init but its keep going back to initializing automatically. I have also checked every forum solution that I could find and was unlucky.
